How this works

  1. Add a client — one Google account and project per client, each with its own trial window and budget.
  2. Connect it — sign in with Google, or paste a service account key. Then pick the project.
  3. Create proxy VMs — pick one or more zones; the tool creates the VMs, opens the firewall, installs Dante over SSH and verifies each proxy.
  4. Watch the burn — when a client passes its day limit or its budget, its VMs are deleted automatically.

Google sign-in app

Each client signs in with its own Google account from the Clients tab. The OAuth application below is shared by all of them — set it once.

Create it under APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → OAuth client ID. On localhost pick Desktop app; on a real domain pick Web application and add this redirect URI: —

If this machine has gcloud, or is itself a GCE VM, a client can reuse those credentials:

Whichever limit is reached first ends the trial. Set either to 0 to drop that limit. Spend is estimated by this tool from list prices — Google exposes no API for trial credit — so correct the figure here whenever you check the real billing page.
